Vanilla Chocolate Breakfast Sundae

Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry Breakfast Sundae

Devin was at breakfast in Chicago when a friend ordered a "Vanilla Strawberry Breakfast Sundae" off the menu. It looked promising but turned out disappointing — so, true to her near-obsession with chocolate, she tweaked it and added chocolate. This three-minute-throw-together breakfast has been on repeat ever since. Can be made in 30 minutes or less, no more than 20 minutes hands-on prep time.
Servings: 1 sundae

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup fat-free vanilla quark (or fat-free vanilla yogurt)
  • 3 tablespoons low-fat granola without raisins
  • 1/4 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chocolate syrup

Method

  1. Spoon the yogurt into a small, deep bowl (about 5 inches in diameter). Sprinkle the granola evenly over the yogurt. Top the granola with the strawberries, and then drizzle evenly with the chocolate syrup. Serve immediately.
