So she sat outside the studio and waited. When the show’s top producer walked out to the parking lot, she didn’t chase him down — she simply stepped into the elevator at exactly the right moment. “I love your show. Have you ever considered a healthy breakfast segment?”
She got on the show. Her first national TV appearance, engineered entirely from a parking lot.
No one was going to send her an invitation. So she built the meeting herself.
